Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Merzouga

Start your tour with a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its Alpine-style architecture. Continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques, before reaching Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, descend through the dramatic Ziz Valley, with its lush oases and palm groves, arriving in Merzouga by late afternoon. After a short break, embark on a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll witness a stunning sunset. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga on camels for breakfast. Continue your journey to Rissani, a town known for its lively souk and as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. After a brief stop, head toward Erfoud, famous for its fossil quarries. From there, you’ll drive through arid landscapes before arriving at the Todra Gorges, a magnificent canyon with towering rock walls. Enjoy a walk along the riverbed and take in the views before dinner and an overnight stay at a guesthouse near the gorges.

Day 3: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, explore more of the Todra Gorges before traveling through the Dades Valley, known for its impressive rock formations and lush greenery. Drive along the “Road of 1,000 Kasbahs,” a scenic route dotted with ancient fortresses and traditional Berber villages. Day 5: Marrakech
