Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga

Departing early from Fes, the journey takes you through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing by Ifrane, a picturesque town known for its European architecture and cooler climate. After a brief stop, continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may spot Barbary macaques. The drive then takes you through the town of Midelt, a popular stop for lunch, before descending into the dramatic Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves and traditional villages. Arriving in Merzouga by late afternoon, you’ll embark on a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll spend the night in a desert camp under a canopy of stars after enjoying a traditional dinner.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After watching the sunrise over the dunes and returning to Merzouga on camelback, the tour continues toward the ancient town of Rissani, known for its vibrant market and historic significance.
